RESILIENT YOUNG BRAINS
The younger and more resilient you are, the more cognitive function you are likely to recover following a mild to severe traumatic brain injury, according to an Australian study published in the Journal of Neurotrauma. The researchers found that age and IQ were much more important for cognitive recovery than the length of time people experienced post traumatic amnesia following the injury.
